If that’s the state of the issue at Fordham something is probably very wrong, and that would be worth investigating (although I don’t think this is so). It’s great that voices and personal experiences are being heard because of this article, but it seems patronizing. The group of students, who identify as “white,” get together for one night to talk about race, and suddenly their “very existence” is “a source of hope.”
