It was related to me by a classmate, a Jesuit “scholastic” at the time, that when Brother Kenney SJ would take the Fordham tuition receipts down to the Chase Bank on Pine Street in Manhattan, there was just a little bit left over for dinner at a tres posh French restaurant on the return trip to the Bronx.
