As the world rings in the new year, consider donating to the following drives and websites to help the victims of the Prospect Avenue fire. This article will be updated with more information and resources as they become available.

Toiletries and Canned Goods

Councilman Ritchie Torres is accepting toiletries and canned goods to his office at 573 East Fordham Road, Bronx, N.Y. Bring goods including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and feminine hygiene products to his office starting Tuesday, Jan. 2nd from nine a.m. to five p.m. PS 51 is also accepting toiletries and canned foods at 695 East 182nd Street, Bronx, NY, as well as MS 45 Thomas C. Giordano Middle School 2502 Lorillard Place, Bronx, N.Y. and PS 205 Fiorello Laguardia at 2475 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, N.Y.

Clothing Donations

Grace Dodge is accepting donations to 2474 Crotona Avenue, Bronx, N.Y. Fordham Campus Ministry will be accepting donations throughout all masses the first weekend after winter break concludes.

Monetary Donations

There are a variety of fundraisers for the victims of the Prospect Avenue fire. You can donate to the Bronx Parent Housing Network at https://www.bphn.org/donate. There are also multiple GoFundMe pages available to accept donations. One family lost four members and is accepting donations to this GoFundMe page for funeral expenses, according to its page. Another woman, who lost her baby and mother in the fire, is accepting donations to this GoFundMe page for funeral expenses.
