Yes the hk police used tear gas and such. But think about what their American counterparts would have done if their citizens started burning down shops, blockading streets and vandalizing the city hall. Speaking of violence, what about those protestors who beat up people who simple disagreed with them ? Just google up and u will multiple so examples of violent acts bythese so called protestors. To be honest I d call them rioters
