On April 3, around 9:00 a.m., Fordham IT’s Banner self-service tab experienced a number of connection issues, which resulted in registration difficulties.
The Banner Self-Service resumed around 12:35, which Fordham IT announced in an email.
“Fordham IT regrets the inconvenience that the outage may have caused members of the University community, especially students attempting to register for Fall classes,” said Elizabeth Cornell, Fordham IT Communication Specialist, in an email.
“We are taking steps to prevent the same issue from occurring again in the future,” she added.
As of now, the service has resumed, and IT is letting students proceed with registration as usual.
