By The Fordham Ram
A recent survey released by The Princeton Review ranked Fordham University as having the eighth best college newspaper in the country.
The results of the survey, published on The Princeton Review’s website, lists 20 colleges and universities in all.
Cornell University, Yale Univesity, Pennsylvania State University, Loyola University New Orleans and Columbia University all placed in the top five.
The website College Media Matters, which focuses on student journalism on the nation’s campuses, provided a breakdown of the results, including links to the individual newspapers at each university that made the list.
The Fordham Ram and The Fordham Observer were both awarded the number eight spot on the list posted on College Media Matters because The Princeton Review does not specify the publication, only the school.
Fordham ranked number nine in The Princeton Review’s best college radio station category.
The Ram will resume printing in the fall shortly after classes begin.
