Your favorite English-Irish boyband is taking New York City, just like how these crazy, fun guys took Los Angeles in their E! reality show “The Wanted Life.” While One Direction attention has been split between the obsessive fangirls and the malicious haters, The Wanted has been steadily reaching our headphones and radio stations without making a fuss. Their dance-pop music coupled with their accents will have you swooning and asking for more. Unfortunately, the band will be taking a break soon and its future is uncertain, so fans should see them while they have the opportunity.
A strange mixture of Kesha and David Guetta, DJ Fancy is an up- and-coming electronic and hip hop DJ. You’re young, you’re hip and you’re cool, so go rage your face off with DJ Fancy. It is only a few more years before people start to judge you for attending electronic music concerts. Plus, it’s free!
5 Seconds of Summer
Best Buy Theatre
As long as you have had access to the outside world the past few months, you know that 5 Seconds of Summer is hot. Better get to their concert and sing “She Looks So Perfect” before everyone jumps on this bandwagon. Wait too long and this trendy Australian band will be overrun by the middle school girl population, becoming “old news” to everyone else.
Wax is an alternative, indie hip hop rapper who achieved fame through his viral youtube video, “Rosana.” Attend his concert to hear a fresh new style of music, one different from anything you have ever heard before. Miley Cyrus’ wild, sexual antics have generated both an immense fan base and intense backlash. Cyrus has said that she does not want every show to be the same, so fans can expect different set lists and fresh material. In true Miley Cyrus fashion, they should also prepare themselves for her unpredictable, rowdy antics. She kissed Perry while singing her hit “Adore You,” and another time she came out in lingerie when she was unable to make a wardrobe change.
