Rev. Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of the university, announced on Friday, Sept. 25 that Anand Padmanabhan was appointed as Fordham’s new vice president and chief information officer (CIO).
Tyler Stovall, Ph.D. was named the new Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Scientists. The announcement was made in an email from provost Dennis Jacobs, Ph.D.
Fordham began a major reconstruction project on McGinley Center this summer. The project will renovate current spaces and build additions to the building.
Fr. Joesph M. McShane S.J. announced in an e-mail that Marco Valera is the new vice president for administration. University secretary Margaret Ball and Vice President for Human Resources Kay Turner also received promotions.
U.S. News and World Report released its annual graduate school rankings, naming the Gabelli Graduate School of Business as #63 in best Business Schools, and Fordham's Education and Law Schools both at #37.
The university and its board of trustees addressed the Fordham community after the Jesuit Northeast Province released its list of credible abuse allegations.
