Which Business Should You Start in Poland in 2023?
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Reddit

Poland is a dynamic EU market that has proven itself stable amid financial crises. Investors are lured to the jurisdiction’s well-educated and competitive workforce, stable economy, and important EU market access. Poland has 38 million people and a fast-growing economy since entering the EU.

Poland’s diversified and robust economy was the least harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, according to the World Bank. The jurisdiction became popular, and investors are seeking Poland’s most profitable business. Let’s look at the 3 greatest Polish businesses for 2023 before you go through Poland company registration.

Advanced manufacturing

Advanced manufacturing is 2023’s top Polish business. Cyber-physical systems, IoT, and cloud computing are becoming more integrated into our lives as the global economy embraces Industry 4.0 (data interchange and manufacturing automation). Technology is transforming efficiency and procedures in corporate and manufacturing settings. Polish manufacturing is growing despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

To boost the economy, the government is investing in emerging technology like additive manufacturing (3D printing). Thus, Polish industrial R&D and innovation receives several grants and resources. Poland has over 300 R&D centers and has invested $9 billion in innovation to strengthen its advanced manufacturing economy.

Poland is well-positioned to develop additive manufacturing equipment, sensors and instruments, electric motors, metal-cutting and forming machinery, welding and soldering equipment, and digital solutions. Thus, the country is ideal for worldwide professionals in modern technology to invest in this industry.

Environmental technology

The second top Polish business in 2023 is environmental technology. Poland has constructed over 1,000 new water treatment plants, updated its pipe infrastructure, decreased its carbon gas emissions by 30%, created new hazardous waste management facilities, and implemented endangered species protection programs since joining the EU. Despite government attempts,

Poland is one of the EU’s most fossil fuel-dependent economies, and numerous Polish states have smog and air pollution. Coal provides 70% of the nation’s energy as of 2020 and is expected to continue until 2049. This requires gas-emission-reducing carbon-handling technologies and services. Particulate matter management, carbon injection, improved combustion, and alternative fuel technologies can enhance air quality in the country.

Sludge treatment and reuse also plague the nation. Poland fills landfills with 700,000 tons of sludge annually. As an EU member, Poland must find environmentally appropriate ways to treat sludge. Filtration and waste-to-energy technologies are needed.

Transportation Systems

Transportation systems are Poland’s third-best business in 2023. Poland invests much in transportation. New transportation projects are being established to address social and economic needs. Poland will invest 17.5 billion in railway infrastructure and 36.6 billion in road infrastructure under EU financing.

Poland ranks 5th in Europe for highways and motorways, with a substantial and increasing network. As part of their new safe road infrastructure program, the government will build more roads and upgrade them.

Poland is actively incorporating intermodal freight transportation into its railway infrastructure. The EU provided funding to address Poland’s cargo train speed issues. With the country’s ongoing attempts to strengthen its transportation system, this is one of Poland’s top businesses to consider in 2023.
