This Sunday, the first big name on the free agent market came off the board when former Washington pitcher Jordan Zimmermann signed with the Tigers for five years and $110 million.  This will be the latest attempt for Detroit to salvage their franchise before going into rebuilding mode after what was an injury plagued down year in 2015.  With this signing, however, the dominos of the free agent market are beginning to fall.  As teams begin to look at how much they want to spent on a specific position, here are five predictions that may or may not actually happen.

Aside from Price to the Cubs and Cespedes to the O’s or White Sox, I think that Johnny Cueto will go to Boston, Zack Greinke will go to San Francisco and Chris Davis will go back to Baltimore.  I think Zobrist will go to the Mets and the Reds will trade Frazier, probably to Cleveland.  If any or all of these do not happen, you didn’t hear them from me.  Happy holidays, everyone.
